BRITISH FASHION DESIGNER: John Galliano
John Galliano is a Gibraltar-born British fashion designer (born on Nov. 28, 1960). He went to St. Anthony's RC School and Wilson's Grammar School in London as a child then when on to study at Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design. He graduated from there in 1984 with a "first class honours degree" in Fashion Design. He has been the head designer of the French fashion companies John Galliano S.A. (1993 to April 2011), Givenchy (January 1996 to October 1996), and Christian Dior (October 1996 to March 2011) and has received many commendations for his work. Reportedly he was found guilty of an anti-semitic slur scandal in 2011 and has been ousted from both his label and his position as the head of Dior. I'm interested to see what his next move in the fashion world will be.
